Application of Master Appu Premium Wall Putty

Surface Preparation

• Use coarse sand paper or brush to clean the surface from dust, oil or loose particles and remove undulations.
• Pre-wet the surface to be plastered, and drain off excess water to make sure the surface is kept moist.

Mixing

• Take 300 - 400 ml of clean water for 1 kg of Master Appu Premium Wall Putty in a clean bucket.
• Continuously stir with electric mixer or by hand for 10-15 minutes to get a uniform smooth paste.
• Allow the smooth paste to stand for 5-6 minutes for the polymers to dissolve.
• Stir the paste again for 1-2 minutes and the paste is ready for application.

How To Apply?

• Apply Master Appu Wall Premium Putty first coat on the moist wall with a putty blade or trowel to get even finish of 0.5 - 1 mm thickness.
• Allow the coat to dry and once dried, cure the coat gently to remove loose particles, if any.
• Now, apply the second coat to a thickness of 0.5 - 1 mm and allow it to dry. Very gently smoothen with a sand paper number 500 for a smooth finish and the surface is now ready for paint application
